Contraband

Once upon a time, from the late 70's for about a dozen years, there was in Nashville a little band called Contraband.

Although many fine musicians passed through the ranks, it is the personnel shown below, which was in place starting in 1982, that most locals remember: Gary Janney-lead vocals, Jerry Kimbrough-guitar and vocals, Ted Wilson-keyboards and vocals, Bob Burns (subbing for Gary Lunn)-bass, Dave Adams-drums, Mike Haynes and Mike Holton-trumpets, Sam Levine-soprano and baritone sax, Cole Burgess-alto and tenor sax, and myself-trombone and band leader. Joining us in this 1988 concert were Reni Grille (Simon) and Vicki Carrico-background vocals.

These were some of the best times of my life, and I will forever be joined at the musical hip with these nine gentlemen...

(please excuse the 80's hair...)

Songs from Winters Edge

These clips are from an instrumental project I wrote and produced, which will be available soon on my store page.

The songs are all inspired by winter's beauty and the feelings we get when the seasons are changing.

The slideshow was put together by the very talented Daniel Noga of iV Music Group.
